My Boo Radley

There could probably be tons of Boo Radley's in my life, or anybody's life, but no matter what there will always be that one in a person's life that they won't forget. A Boo could be many things, but to me it was my mom. I know it sounds mean now, but that' just like Boo. Mean person to begin with but got nicer as time passed.
The reason I would say that my Boo was my mom was because when I was little I never really wanted to do the things that my mom made me do. Like chores or little homework practices and because of that I began to think that she was an evil, mean, person. However, by her doing that it made me into a better person, someone that works hard, and now she is just like my Boo Radley. She watches over me and takes care  to give me presents and little treats from time to time and I just know that one day she will do something just as brave as Boo to save me from something no matter what it is.
My mom never intended to be mean, she just wanted to teach me how to play a board game that I didn't care for. She knew I didn't want to learn how to play it but she was determined to finish what she started. She explained how to play it many times over and I just never listened and that was definiteley the wrong thing to do. If I had just listened and did what she said I would have been able to go back outside and play. The game was Yahtzee, I didn't like it at all. The only thing I liked about it was being able to shake the cup with the dice in it. She was trying to teach me how to get points and I wouldn't listen. So, because of that, she ended up yelling at me and scaring everything off of my bones. I was only five so you can tell that when she yelled at me I took it the wrong way. Now that I'm older I understand that it was just a simple thing and I could have been done with it without that confrontation that I still talk about up to this day.
My mom isn't a bad person she can just get really annoyed with people who don't try and just give up immediately. Now my mom is one of the greatest things to look up to in my life. She has a good job, a nice house, four great kids, and one loving family.
My mom as the Boo in my life relates to Scout's Boo because at first we both thought that our Boo's were terrible people who did bad things. We both also had to step into their shoes and think about how they see what goes on and how people act with each other. In the end both of our Boo's ended up being the ones in our lives that care for us the most.
